General Instructions

1. ESSENTIAL POINTS TO BE NOTED BY APPLICANTS BEFORE APPLYING ONLINE:
   a) Applicants are required to apply online ONLY.
   b) Each applicant must scan his/her photograph and signature, ensuring that both the photograph and signature comply with the required specifications as mentioned in the upload section of the online application process.
   c) Signature in CAPITAL LETTERS will NOT be accepted.
   d) Keep all the necessary details/documents/certificates ready for the documents upload section and a successful online payment of the application fee is required to submit an online Application Form.
   e) Applicants must have a valid personal email ID and contact number, which should be kept active till the completion of this admission process. Under no circumstances, he/she should share/mention e-mail ID to/of any other person. In case an applicant does not have a valid personal e-mail ID, he/she should create his/her new e-mail ID before applying online and must maintain that email account.

2. IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR APPLICANTS SEEKING RESERVATIONS UNDER OTHER CATEGORIES :
   Applicants seeking admission under Differently Abled, Son/Daughter of permanent in-service Employees of Gauhati University, Son/Daughter of Ex-Employees of Gauhati University, Son/Daughter of Ex-Defence Personnel, Fringe Village, NCC/NSS, Extra- curricular& Co-curricular Activities, etc. must apply online and take a printout of the Application Form after submitting it online. The printed copy of the Application Form must be submitted with all required testimonials duly self-attested to the office of the Principal, University Law College, Gauhati University, Gopinath Bardoloi Nagar, Guwahati-
   781014, Assam in person or by post on or before July 23, 2024.
